Job summary

GOOGLE ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD. is seeking software engineers to own end-to-end feature design across systems, from backend infrastructure to frontend components, enabling massive-scale experiments and growth.

You will mentor junior engineers, lead backend service designs, and help build robust data pipelines while maintaining high reliability through monitoring and automated performance tracking. The role emphasizes scalable, secure, and rapid delivery using cutting-edge DevAI approaches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software programming in C++, Java, Python or Go.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of feature design and deployment, operating across the stack from backend infrastructure to frontend mobile and web ecosystems.
• Mentor junior engineers on reliable, scalable, and secure designs.
• Lead technical designs for robust backend services and data processing pipelines that support massive-scale growth experiments.
• Ensure long-term feature reliability by building monitoring, alerting, and automated performance tracking.
• Contribute to engineering excellence by participating in design reviews and leveraging DevAI and agentic coding workflows.
