Job summary

TALENTSIS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced software engineering leader to drive the full lifecycle of scalable applications. You will architect and deliver API-first microservices, leverage cloud platforms, and champion quality through reviews, testing, and TDD.

You will mentor engineers, manage technical risk, and collaborate with business stakeholders to align delivery with strategic goals. A strong background in security practices and modernisation projects is essential.

Qualifications

5+ years of full-stack software engineering across architecture, development, testing, deployment and production support.
Experience modernising legacy systems.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, CI/CD and secure coding practices (OWASP).
Experience in API design, microservices and distributed systems.
Excellent communication and ability to explain trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead technical delivery across the full software development lifecycle from discovery to production support.
Design scalable applications using microservices, event-driven architecture, and API-first approaches.
Promote quality engineering through code reviews, automated testing, TDD, and refactoring.
Build and deploy production-grade apps using cloud platforms, CI/CD, and IaC.
Define API contracts and integration patterns; run POCs to validate solutions.
Identify risks, evaluate trade-offs, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive delivery.
Institute monitoring and observability; pursue continuous improvement.
Coach and mentor engineers through pairing, workshops and reviews.
