Job summary

Y3 TECHNOLOGIES PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a senior software engineer with 10–13 years of hands-on experience to help build scalable, enterprise-grade applications. You will lead development efforts, design technical specifications, and mentor a team of developers to deliver robust solutions using Java, Spring, Hibernate, REST services, and modern front-end tech.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• 10–13 years hands-on software development experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong proficiency in Java and OOP principles.
• Experience with Spring, Hibernate, and MVC web frameworks.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot, RESTful services, and Drools is a plus.
• Proficient in VueJS/ReactJS, jQuery and Bootstrap.
• Working knowledge of HTML5 and relational databases (EDB Postgres).
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of high-quality, scalable software as part of a dynamic team.
• Design and draft comprehensive technical specifications for software tasks.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to developers to meet project objectives.
• Write clean, maintainable code aligned with specifications.
• Conduct unit testing to ensure quality, performance, reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve development issues.
• Support software and product implementation as needed.
• Participate in system integration testing to ensure seamless performance.
• Maintain detailed documentation for projects and processes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance software products.
• Coordinate release planning and deployment with stakeholders.
• Architect systems based on user requirements for scalability and performance.
• Translate business requirements into robust functional and technical specs.
• Lead or contribute to design validation, debugging, testing.
• Conduct peer reviews of designs and code to adhere to best practices.
• Manage data and application migration activities where applicable.
• Support pre-sales with technical input and solution design.
• Take on additional responsibilities as required by project demands.
