Job summary

U3 INFOTECH PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Java Architect to lead the design of scalable, secure enterprise applications in Singapore. You will guide architecture decisions, define patterns, and set technical standards while collaborating with business and engineering teams.

The role requires hands-on Java, Spring Boot, and microservices expertise, with a focus on performance, security, and high availability across distributed systems and cloud integrations.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs.
• Proven experience in Solution/Application Architecture within enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of design patterns, distributed systems, and enterprise integration.
• Experience with cloud platforms, databases, messaging systems, and API integrations.
• Strong knowledge of performance, scalability, security, and high availability.
• Experience providing technical leadership to development teams and conducting code/design reviews.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead the architecture of scalable, secure enterprise applications.
• Define solution and application architecture, patterns, and technical standards.
• Provide technical leadership across the development lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Lead design discussions, architecture decisions, and code reviews with teams.
• Design and develop solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs.
• Work with distributed systems and enterprise integration patterns for reliability.
• Evaluate cloud platforms, databases, messaging systems, APIs, and third-party services.
• Ensure performance, scalability, security, availability and maintainability of solutions.
• Collaborate with business, product, and engineering stakeholders.
• Drive technical improvements and address architectural risks with suitable solutions.
