YCH Group Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Senior Software Engineer to help build high-quality, scalable software and translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. You will lead development efforts, design specifications, and mentor developers to achieve project objectives.

Responsibilities include writing clean code, conducting unit tests, debugging, and ensuring timely delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
10 to 13 years of hands-on software development experience, enterprise environment preferred.
Strong Java and OOP skills; experience with Spring, Hibernate, and MVC web frameworks.
Familiarity with Spring Boot, RESTful services, and Drools is a plus.
Front-end skills with VueJS, ReactJS, jQuery, Bootstrap; HTML5 knowledge.
Experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL; open-source tech familiarity.
Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams; excellent problem-solving and debugging.
Strong verbal and written communication; capable of multi-project delivery.

Responsibilities

Contribute to development of high-quality, scalable software as part of an innovative team.
Design and draft comprehensive technical specs for development tasks.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to developers to meet project objectives.
Write clean, efficient, maintainable code aligned with specs.
Conduct unit testing to ensure software quality, performance, and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during development.
Support software and product implementation as needed.
Participate in system integration testing for seamless cross-module performance.
Maintain detailed documentation for software projects and development processes.
Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance software products and solutions.
Coordinate release planning and deployment activities with stakeholders.
Architect systems based on user requirements for scalability and performance.
Translate business requirements into robust functional and technical specs.
Lead or contribute to design validation, debugging, and testing efforts.
Conduct peer reviews of designs and code to ensure best practices.
Manage data and application migration activities where applicable.
Support pre-sales teams with technical input and solution design during proposals.
Take on additional responsibilities as required by project demands.
