Job summary

Society of Sheng Hong Welfare Services in Singapore is seeking an experienced social work professional to lead casework, counselling, and group work within the Family Service Centre. You will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure case plan outcomes and supervise junior staff.

Applicants should hold a degree or higher in social work or counselling, with 4-6 years in a social service setting and at least 1 year of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in Social Work, Counselling, or related field.
• 4-6 years in a Social Service Agency; at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Family Service Centre experience is an added advantage.
• Strong report writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Casework and counselling with clients of varying needs, risk and safety concerns.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve case plan outcomes.
• Lead group work to target client groups and community development initiatives.
• Provide supervision to at least 4 supervisees on casework and counselling.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director (Head of FSC).
