Job summary

STERLING ENGINEERS PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced steelwork supervisor to oversee civil, structural, architectural, and M&E works on industrial projects.

You will ensure installation quality against drawings and statutory requirements, conduct in-progress inspections, and report non-conformities to the Qualified Person. The role requires at least 5 years in building works, with registration under IES/ACES and SSSS, and BCSS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in building works; industrial building with prestressed elements preferred.
• Registered and valid RE/ RTO accreditation by IES or ACES.
• Registered under SSSS as a steelwork supervisor.
• BCSS certificate preferred.
• Conversant with statutory codes and requirements.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• To supervise and monitor civil, structural, architectural, and M&E works including monitoring of installation works in accordance with approved drawings, and statutory requirements and specifications.
• To conduct in-progress inspections and identify non-conformities, reporting to the Qualified Person.
• To attend site, coordination, and quality meetings.
• Witness all inspection and testing sessions to ensure compliance with designs and specifications.
