Job summary

18 STEPS ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee timely, quality construction works in line with contract specifications and statutory requirements.

You will coordinate building and civil & structural (C&S) services, manage defect rectifications, and maintain accurate site records. The role requires RTO accreditation by IES and/or ACES, a minimum of five years engineering experience, and a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Rigorously organized candidate with ability to plan and schedule activities effectively.
• Proven communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and report issues.
• Experience coordinating multi-discipline teams on-site and ensuring quality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise timely execution of works to meet contract specifications, drawings, allocated timeframes, and site Instructions.
• Verify all drawings and specifications for discrepancies and report findings to Officer-in-Charge (OIC).
• Inspect quality of works, materials, and samples delivered on site; identify and rectify non-compliance issues and report to OIC.
• Prepare defect lists, monitor rectification progress, and ensure satisfactory resolution of all defects.
• Ensure all works comply with statutory requirements and contract specifications.
• Attend and document minutes for site, progress, variation, QAQC, and coordination meetings.
• Inspect and assist with handing over and taking over of completed works by other contracts.
• Maintain proper and updated records of all site works and activities.
• Coordinate all building and civil & structural (C&S) services on site.
• Collaborate with the safety team to maintain maximum safety standards on site.
