Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 2+ years of formal training or certification on software engineering concepts.
• Ability to code in at least one programming language.
• Experience maintaining a cloud-based infrastructure.
• Familiar with observability tools and monitoring techniques.
• Exposure to ITIL processes.
• Knowledge of enterprise AI capabilities usage and risk controls.

Responsibilities

• Own and run payment services and cloud infrastructure with high availability and resiliency.
• Drive production excellence via monitoring, incident management, problem management, and continuous service improvements.
• Use Datadog, CloudWatch and observability tooling to diagnose issues.
• Lead recovery during incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
• Apply enterprise AI capabilities to speed up triage and post-incident analysis.
• Eliminate toil through automation and self-healing solutions.
• Develop understanding of payment flows to identify risks and enable rapid resolution.
• Proactively identify toil and improve reliability via system changes.
• Improve observability patterns, SLIs/SLTs and alerting for transparency and analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share knowledge and drive reliability.
