Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Singapore seeks a Lead Site Manager to oversee on-site execution from construction to handover, ensuring safety, cost control and timely delivery in line with contract requirements and HSE policies.

You will coordinate site activities, manage subcontractors, maintain clear stakeholder communication, and develop high-performance teams while traveling to project sites as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience managing construction, installation, commissioning, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of site management and cost control.
• HSE risk management practices.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate all site activities, resources, equipment, and milestones in collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Lead and monitor on-site construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities to ensure successful project delivery.
• Serve as the primary site representative, maintaining strong relationships with customers, authorities, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Hitachi Energy's HSE requirements and maintain site-specific safety plans.
• Promote a strong safety culture and exercise stop-work authority when unsafe conditions are identified.
• Manage site logistics, including material handling, storage, and equipment delivery coordination.
• Supervise subcontractors to ensure quality, productivity, and schedule adherence.
• Monitor site costs, manage budgets, support forecasting activities, and oversee local procurement within delegated authority.
• Ensure proper document control and use of current project documentation and revisions.
• Lead, coach, and develop site teams to ensure effective execution and a high-performance work environment.
