• Create and maintain a construction schedule aligned with project goals
• Hire, train, supervise, and assign tasks to workers
• Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards on construction sites
• Ensure all construction projects stay on schedule, within budget, and completed successfully
• Calculate productivity rates and report project status to supervisors
• Read project plans, drawings, specifications, and blueprints
• Create and manage schedules and monitor attendance of the workers
• Oversee construction sites and supervise the use of machinery and equipment
• Delegate responsibilities and tasks to team members, contractors, and workers according to priorities
• Emphasize safe use of all tools and equipment and enforce proper safety gear
• Manage employees to ensure the project is kept on schedule
