Job summary

Hitachi Energy Singapore is seeking a Lead Site Manager to lead on-site activities for assigned projects, ensuring safe, cost-effective, and timely execution in line with contract requirements and Hitachi Energy HSE policies.

You will oversee construction, installation, testing, commissioning and handover, manage subcontractors, coordinate resources, and maintain strong relationships with customers and authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Experience managing construction, installation, commissioning, or infrastructure projects within power, energy, industrial, or utility environments.
• Strong knowledge of site management, project execution, cost control, and subcontractor management.
• Sound understanding of HSE requirements and risk management practices.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and work at project sites as required.

As a Lead Site Manager, you will be responsible for leading all on-site activities for assigned projects or sub-projects to ensure safe, cost-effective, and timely execution in accordance with contract requirements, quality standards, and Hitachi Energy HSE policies. You will oversee site execution from construction and installation through testing, commissioning, and final handover.

• Monitor site costs, manage budgets, support forecasting activities, and oversee local procurement within delegated authority.
• Ensure proper document control and use of current project documentation and revisions.
• Lead, coach, and develop site teams to ensure effective execution and a high-performance work environment.
