Job summary

Ssangyong-Wai Fong Joint Venture in Singapore is seeking a Civil Engineer to lead planning, supervision, and quality control for key trade works on LTA projects. You will coordinate closely with subcontractors and authorities to ensure timely, compliant site execution.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience, with hands-on work in bored piles, ERSS, ground improvement and RC works, plus strong MS Office skills and independent problem

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or higher).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant civil construction experience.
• Prior working experience on LTA projects is required.
• Hands-on experience in Bored Pile, ERSS (Sheet Pile, D-Wall), Ground Improvement, and RC works strongly preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong site coordination and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Report to Construction Manager / Project Manager.
• Take ownership of the planning, supervision, and quality control of key trade works — Bored Pile, ERSS (Sheet Pile, D-Wall), Ground Improvement, and RC works — executed by Sub-contractors.
• Lead coordination with LTA and other authorities on technical and site-related matters.
• Review and manage Sub-contractors' work programmes, method statements, and resources to ensure timely and compliant execution.
• Proactively identify site constraints and technical issues, propose solutions, and elevate where necessary.
• Ensure works comply with contract specifications, safety regulations, and relevant authority requirements.
