Job summary

ST Engineering is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design and integration of shipboard automation systems for marine projects. You will work on SMS interfaces, control room layouts, and platform automation, ensuring compliance with contractual specifications and marine standards.

The role requires hands-on experience in automation or marine environments, proficiency with industry protocols, and strong collaboration with clients and vendors.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical, Automation, or Electronics Engineering.
Experience in Automation or Marine Industry.
Knowledge of standard marine communication protocols (Modbus RTU/TCP, Profibus, RS422/RS485, CANbus, J1939).
Proficiency with AutoCAD/Navisworks/AVEVA software.

Responsibilities

Design, implement and integrate shipboard automation with SMS and platform control.
Review vendor proposals to ensure contractual and classification requirements are met.
Coordinate with clients and vendors, conduct technical reviews and issue resolutions.
Attend sea trials and travel to project sites as required.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Automation/Electronics Engineering
