Job summary

SeaTech Solutions International (S) PTE LTD seeks a Senior Marine Electrical Engineer to lead top-level electrical design for power generation, distribution, and automation networks aboard ships. You will drive the digital and green transformation of the fleet and ensure system integrity across complex interfaces.

You will generate SLDs, perform short-circuit and harmonic analyses, and collaborate with owners and suppliers to resolve critical electrical commissioning issues.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of marine electrical design experience.
• Expert mastery of ETAP or marine CAD tools for drawing validation.
• Solid comprehension or direct project experience with marine battery storage (BESS) or DC Grid applications is highly valued.
• Strong multi-cultural communication skills in English to balance varying regional project demands.

Responsibilities

• Lead the generation of electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), short-circuit calculations, harmonic analyses, and electrical load balances.
• Design and check high/low voltage distribution networks, switchboards, and overall shipboard cable routing strategies.
• Integrate Integrated Automation Systems (IAS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), navigation, and communication topologies.
• Act as the technical liaison for shipowners and power propulsion suppliers to resolve critical electrical interface and commissioning conflicts.
