Job summary

GovTech in Singapore seeks a seasoned service designer to lead the end-to-end design of data and AI-enabled public services. You will map journeys, design handoffs between automated pipelines and human decision-makers, and translate complex infrastructure into clear journeys for non-technical stakeholders.

You'll collaborate with engineering, product, data and policy teams, define outcome measures, and create reusable service patterns that scale across the programme while maintaining governance

Qualifications

• 5+ years in service design, product design, or UX on complex, multi-stakeholder systems.
• Strong portfolio with service blueprints, journey maps, or ecosystem maps.
• Experience designing AI-powered products or services, including prompt interfaces, streaming responses, error/fallback states, confidence indicators, or human–AI handoffs.

Responsibilities

• Map and design end-to-end service experiences across agency onboarding, data access requests, data discovery, and governance touchpoints.
• Design handoffs between automated data pipelines and human decision-makers; incorporate agentic data workflows and trust indicators.
• Translate complex infrastructure into accessible service journeys for non-technical stakeholders.
• Identify failure modes, edge cases, and error states before users encounter them.
• Collaborate as a peer with product managers, data engineers, architects, and policy leads to shape programme direction.
• Define and track outcome measures for user experience of the data ecosystem.
