Job summary

GovTech Singapore, embedded at SG Enable, seeks a Lead/Senior Designer to drive UX and service design across digital products for persons with disabilities and caregivers. You’ll lead strategy, hands-on design, accessibility leadership, and team mentorship, while collaborating with engineers and product teams.

You will hire and mentor designers, oversee external partners, and report into GovTech's design practice, shaping SG Enable's digital transformation agenda and service outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing and shipping digital solutions end-to-end.
• 5+ years leading and growing design teams.
• Experience leading design in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Mastery across design disciplines: framing, research, service/product design, prototyping, storytelling.
• Strong understanding of accessibility and inclusive design (WCAG).
• Experience planning and conducting user research with diverse user groups.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive UX and service design strategies aligned with transformation priorities.
• Lead end-to-end design across multiple digital products and touchpoints.
• Translate complex requirements into simple user experiences.
• Champion accessibility and inclusive design throughout the lifecycle.
• Plan and prioritise design work across initiatives with quality oversight.
• Hire, coach and mentor designers to grow their skills in accessibility and product thinking.
• Collaborate with product teams to track UX metrics and drive improvements.
• Contribute to GovTech's design community by piloting new initiatives.
