Job summary

SSMC (Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company Pte. Ltd.) is seeking a Senior Engineer to join Integration and Technology Development, Characterization & Electrical Test.

You will set up WAT programs, optimize testers and probers, and perform device characterization to support NTO tape-outs. You will interpret data, collaborate with process integration, and contribute to reliability measurements with a focus on automotive test requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master degree in semiconductor/electronics/electrical/Physics/Material engineering or relevant disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor device physics.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• One year or more experience in WAT or Characterization.
• Good interpersonal skills across cultures and teams.

Responsibilities

• Set up WAT program for NTOs (New Tape-out).
• Set up and optimize WAT tester and prober recipes for production.
• Perform device characterization measurements on WAT testers and bench tools.
• Interpret device characterization data and work with process integration engineers.
• Assist set-up of reliability measurements and interpret results.
• Apply knowledge of automotive test requirements to characterization activities.
• WAT test operations and management.
• WAT probe card mechanism and PM know-how.
• Understand WAT WPH calculations and capacity needs.
• TCAD knowledge is advantageous for simulations.
