Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Applied Physics, or Materials Science.
- Strong independent project delivery and advanced research experience.
- Proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB, with good communication in multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop reactor- and feature-scale models connecting physics to equipment behavior.
- Create dynamic models of gas delivery, heating, cooling, and vacuum systems.
- Develop ROMs/surrogate models from simulations and measurements.
- Plan calibration/validation against experiments and optimize designs.
- Lead modeling projects and translate results into practical design recommendations.
- Collaborate with global teams and mentor colleagues.
