Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Applied Physics, or Materials Science.
• Proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB with model calibration and validation.
• Ability to deliver independent projects and communicate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop reactor-scale CFD and thermal models for flow, heat transfer, and transport.
• Create feature-scale models of species transport and surface reactions; assess conformality.
• Develop ROMs/surrogate models from simulations and measurements for rapid prediction and control.
• Lead modeling projects and translate results into practical design recommendations.
• Plan validation against experiments and automate simulation workflows.
