Job summary

Johnson Controls in Singapore is seeking a security systems engineer to handle engineering, configuration, integration, testing, and commissioning of security solutions from design through FAT/SAT. You will collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and vendors to meet client requirements and industry standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a relevant field, 5+ years' experience with security platforms, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer & Science, Instrumentations or Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in installation, configuration, or servicing security systems.
• Experience with enterprise security platforms (Lenel OnGuard, LenelS2, Gallagher, Genetec, Milestone, Senstar, Traka).
• English proficiency in reading, writing, and conversation.
• Computer literacy and networking knowledge (Windows, Linux, Office, LAN, Fibre).
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical documentation (shop drawings, as-builts, manuals, matrices).
• Develop and review system architecture, security designs, and device schedules.
• Ensure specifications and material orders align with project requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to monitor progress and support installation.
• Inspect, setup, test, and commission electronic security installations (Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion).
• Support FAT/SAT, pre-commissioning activities, and troubleshooting.
