Job summary

Convergint in Singapore seeks an experienced engineer for installation, testing, commissioning, and programming of security equipment following Convergint’s standards. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality engineering projects and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.

The candidate will manage projects, provide technical support across departments, troubleshoot security systems, and perform on-site client training.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronic, Computer, Automation, or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in security, electronics, or small project implementation and commissioning.
Basic IT knowledge in security hardware, network, and databases.
Experience with security access control, CCTV, and alarm systems is advantageous.
Exposure to Lenel, GE, Cisco, and S2 systems is a plus.
Demonstrate excellent communication and coordination skills with a strong client-service focus.

Responsibilities

Install, test, commission, and program security equipment in accordance with company policies and standards.
Manage projects to ensure successful completion.
Provide technical support to Sales and other departments.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to security systems.
Conduct on-site training sessions for clients.
Utilize AutoCAD to design security layouts and building diagrams.
Maintain a high level of knowledge in security concepts.
