Job summary

Johnson Controls in Singapore is seeking an experienced Security Systems Engineer to handle engineering, configuration, integration, testing, and commissioning of security solutions from design through to project handover.

You will collaborate with project managers, clients, and vendors, review system architecture, prepare documentation, support FAT/SAT, and travel as required to deliver compliant installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer & Science, Instrumentations, or Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years in installation, configuration, or servicing security systems such as Lenel OnGuard, CCURE 9000, AMAG, BVMS, Interlogix, PIDS, DSC, Kantech, or HID.
• Experience with enterprise security platforms (Software House, LenelS2, Gallagher, Genetec, Milestone, Senstar, and Traka).
• Computer literacy and networking knowledge, including MS Windows, Linux, Office, LAN, and Fiber Optic.
• Experience in civil and electrical construction works.
• One or more certifications in Lenel OnGuard, CCURE 9000, AMAG, or BVMS.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Revu BlueBeam.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Handle engineering, configuration, integration, testing, and commissioning of security solutions from design through implementation.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, construction teams, and vendors to meet project specs and standards.
• Prepare technical documentation, including shop drawings, as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and programming matrices.
• Develop and review system architecture, device schedules, and technical specifications.
• Ensure correct specs and material orders align with project requirements.
• Identify design needs and help develop project scope and specifications.
• Monitor work progress with stakeholders and support expedited installation.
• Perform inspection, setup, testing, and commissioning of security installations (Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion, Intercoms).
• Support FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Promote health and safety policies on site.
