CoreWeave, The Essential Cloud for AI, is seeking a Security Operations Engineer II for its 24x7 Security Operations team in Singapore. You will lead initial triage, escalation, and incident response, collaborating with global teams to deliver rapid threat coverage across Linux, MacOS, and Kubernetes environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or similar experience
• 5+ years of experience in forensics, incident response, or security operations, or related fields
• Strong experience with Linux and MacOS systems, including deep knowledge of system internals, logging, and forensic artifacts
• Experience with Kubernetes and securing containerized environments
• Experience with modern security tools and platforms such as SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and firewalls
• Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, proxies, and other security technologies
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Must be legally authorized to work in Singapore without company sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Participate in a regional on-call rotation to support 24/7 global coverage, prioritizing local daytime hours
• Investigate security incidents, including detections, analysis, containment, and remediation across Linux, MacOS, and Kubernetes
• Utilize SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and other security tooling to detect, investigate, and respond to threats in real time
• Conduct post-incident reviews, providing insights and recommendations to improve defenses
• Collaborate with threat intelligence and detection engineering teams to identify emerging threats
• Serve as technical lead for SOC response workflows, guiding junior engineers and coordinating incident handling
• Stay current with industry best practices and threat landscape trends
