Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Security Operations Engineer II to focus on security event triage and incident response. You will independently triage, escalate, and respond to day-to-day events and contribute to detection and response capabilities under the guidance of senior engineers.

This role supports a 24/7/365 SOC with rotating on-call for nights and weekends, uses SIEM/EDR tools, and collaborates with threat intelligence and detection engineering teams to strengthen CoreWeave's security posture.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of experience in security operations, SOC analysis, incident response, forensics, or related field.
• Working knowledge of Linux and MacOS systems, including logging and common forensic artifacts.
• Exposure to Kubernetes and securing containerized environments.
• Familiarity with modern security tools and platforms such as SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Triage, escalate, and perform first-line incident response on day-to-day security events.
• Monitor Linux, MacOS, Kubernetes environments using SIEM/EDR tools.
• Contribute to detection and response capabilities under guidance of senior engineers.
• Maintain runbooks and collaborate with threat intelligence and detection teams.
