Job description

Sr. Security Operations Program Manager – APAC

Job title

Senior Security Operations Program Manager (Sr. SOPM) - APAC

Reports to

Senior Operations Support Manager – APAC

Location

Singapore (Hybrid) – minimum 3 days per week at the designated regional office.

About our team

We are a dynamic, dedicated team that provides management and support for a global guarding services account spanning more than 30 countries. Our client is an industry-leading datacentre organisation, and we pride ourselves on delivering best in-class solutions through teams across Security Operations, Shared Services, Threat and Incident Management, Environmental Health and Safety, and Human Resources. As part of this team, you’ll work alongside experienced security and operational professionals who are committed to excellence, innovation, and delivering high-quality security services across a complex global environment.

About the role

The Senior Security Operations Program Manager (Sr. SOPM) is a senior-level role responsible for supporting and strengthening the APAC physical security program for a complex global account providing critical infrastructure services. The role translates regional strategy and priorities into coordinated execution through program management, governance, operating models, process improvement, technology-enabled workflows, performance analytics, and executive reporting.

Working closely with the Senior Client Stakeholder of Physical Security – APAC and regional pillar leads, the Sr. SOPM will coordinate strategic priorities, lead the Rhythm of Business (ROB) across the APAC program, drive initiatives through to completion, identify and manage risks and dependencies, and provide clear, evidence-based recommendations and executive briefings on progress, findings, trade-offs, and required decisions.

This is a highly autonomous role requiring strong business judgement, analytical capability, and exceptional communication skills. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a complex, fast-paced and matrixed environment, confidently challenging proposals when appropriate, and translating complex requirements into practical and scalable solutions.

The role will also have direct responsibility for leading and developing a small team of up to 5 employees.

What you’ll do

In this role, you will act as a key execution partner to the Senior Client Stakeholder of Physical Security – APAC, translating strategic priorities into coordinated action across regional pillar leads. You will lead regular Rhythm of Business (ROB) engagements, monitor strategic initiative progress, identify risks and barriers, drive actions to closure, and provide concise executive briefings on progress, key findings, recommendations, and required decisions.

You will design, implement, govern, and continuously improve security processes, procedures, controls, training materials, operating models, and improvement plans. You will ensure these are clearly documented, operationally effective, consistently applied, and aligned with client requirements and APAC security objectives.

You will lead assigned strategic programs and projects from planning through implementation and closure, defining objectives, deliverables, timelines, resources, dependencies, risks, and success measures. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders, monitor delivery, manage changes, and ensure initiatives achieve their intended outcomes.

You will manage and respond to requests for information from senior client stakeholders, assessing scope, feasibility, resource requirements, and potential downstream impacts. You will coordinate with relevant teams to gather, analyse, validate, and present information, using data and performance metrics to identify trends, assess trade-offs, and provide evidence-based recommendations to support senior-level decision-making.

You will build strong relationships across Securitas, client leadership, internal teams, external partners, and regional stakeholders. You will facilitate effective communication, resolve delivery barriers, coordinate dependencies, and ensure material issues and risks are escalated appropriately with clear impacts, options, and recommended actions.

You will identify opportunities to improve security operations and service delivery, develop practical recommendations and business cases, and support new initiatives that advance the long-term APAC physical security strategy. You will also establish and support governance forums that enable effective decision-making, cross-functional alignment, risk escalation, and accountable follow-through, with clear documentation of key decisions and actions.

As a people leader, you will provide clear direction, prioritise workloads, coach and develop team members, provide regular feedback, and foster an inclusive, accountable, and high-performing team environment.

What you need to apply

To be successful in this role, you should possess a bachelor’s degree in business, Management, or a related field, together with at least 8 years of progressively responsible experience leading regional security operations, programs, or complex projects in a matrixed environment. Equivalent combinations of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the role will also be considered.

You should have demonstrated experience in executive stakeholder engagement, cross-functional program or project management, strategic planning, risk and issue management, change delivery, performance reporting, and directly managing and developing employees.

Strong digital capability is essential, including practical experience using the Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate, to digitise and automate workflows, improve program processes, develop dashboards and reporting solutions, strengthen data quality and governance, and deliver measurable operational improvements.

You should have strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to assess feasibility, understand resource requirements and downstream impacts, develop practical solutions, and make sound recommendations. Strong organisational and task-management skills are required to manage competing priorities and ensure timely delivery.

Excellent written, verbal, briefing, and presentation skills are essential, with the ability to communicate clear and confidently with executives, clients, employees, and stakeholders across diverse cultures and geographic locations. You should be comfortable working independently, influencing without direct authority, and operating in fast-paced, ambiguous, and high pressure environments.

A master’s qualification in Business, Management, or a related discipline is preferred. Professional security certifications such as CPP or PSP are desirable, and experience in datacentre, technology, or critical infrastructure environments is preferred.

What you’ll get

We offer more than just a job; we offer the opportunity to contribute to a global physical security program supporting some of the world's most critical and advanced infrastructure environments.

You will work alongside experienced security, operational, and business leaders while gaining exposure to strategic programs, technology-enabled solutions, data analytics, governance, and executive-level stakeholder engagement across APAC and globally.

This role provides opportunities to develop your program management, strategic planning, analytical, and leadership capabilities while directly contributing to initiatives that improve security operations, service delivery, consistency, and operational effectiveness across a complex global environment.

The extra stuff

A current passport, or the ability to obtain one, is required. Travel may be required domestically and internationally, occasionally with limited notice, to support business requirements, projects, meetings, or critical events.

The role may require support outside standard business hours during critical incidents, crisis response, urgent executive requests, or coordination across APAC and global time zones.

With or without reasonable accommodation, a candidate must have the physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions described.

Candidates must also be willing to undergo the company’s pre-employment screening process, which includes a background check and drug screening.
