Job summary

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Security or equivalent disciplined service qualification/experience.

  • Strong English communication, both verbal and written.
  • Own transportation is preferred.
  • Familiarity with PSR/PLRD/MOM regulatory requirements is desirable.

Job description

Job Summary

This position oversees the full execution of the outcome-based contract, managing all G4S workforce operations, maintaining key stakeholder relationships, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant security personnel and system technology to all sites.

Key Objectives & Responsibilities
  • Stakeholder Liaison & Leadership: Serve as the dedicated single point of contact for the Contract, Managing Agent, and site Operations Managers to execute orders and lead Operations Executives.

  • Operational & Administrative Oversight: Perform site inspections, manage staffing with HR, ensure technology and equipment are maintained, and verify accurate monthly client invoicing.

  • Compliance & Reporting: Maintain complete contract and legal compliance, oversee staff training, track inventories, and fulfill all regular reporting and audit requirements.

Main Accountabilities
  • Ensures all services strictly comply with relevant laws (PLRD, MOM), client agreements, and G4S group policies and systems (S360, ISO, Skywalker).

  • Acts in accordance with the G4S values at all times. Demonstrates this as a role model for all other staff.

  • Recommends new sales leads to Sales Director, National Ops Director and Managing Director in writing.

  • Directly supervises and guides staff to ensure consistent adherence to procedures and best practices.

  • Encourages and nominates, in writing, staff for formal awards / recognition for their good work done in a very timely manner.

  • Liaises daily with the Ops Director, immediately reporting and documenting all key security and HSE incidents in S360 for escalation.

  • Manages staff scheduling and tracking via Skywalker/Control Room to guarantee full shift coverage across all client sites.

  • Coordinates with the Control Room to enforce Skywalker rules and update time, attendance, schedules, and contract changes promptly.

  • Submits accurate time and attendance records promptly to ensure timely client invoicing for all regular and temporary tasks.

  • Responsible for maintaining strict and fair discipline with all staff under care.

  • Prevent and eradicate over-manning, long hours of work exceeding PLRD rules, free of charge service and poor manpower scheduling.

  • Keeps overtime to an absolute minimum unless correctly authorised.

  • Ensures all site staff are properly trained and maintains accurate training records in their personal files.

  • Vets all staff according to legal, company, and client requirements prior to site deployment.

  • Keeps the G4S SG internal client portal and folders within up to date at all times relevant to sites under care.

  • Assists and pursues overdue collections from clients to reduce debt and improve OCF (Operating Cash Flow).

  • Conducts regular scheduled, unscheduled, and day/night site inspections, using S360 to record visits and surveys.

  • Prepares, updates, and agrees standardized Assignment Instructions with clients, ensuring staff are briefed and documents are on site before deployment.

  • Conducts documented security and HSE risk surveys, prior to contract start and as needed, recommending site improvements to clients.

  • Provides necessary training to all site and office staff, documenting completion in their personal files.

  • Maintains accurate, up-to-date administrative records and client details, including logging site tasks and KPIs on the G4S SG Portal.

  • Ensures all guarding and office staff maintain a professional appearance to uphold company and client standards.

  • Develops proactive contingency and emergency staffing plans for client sites, office operations, and general MSS services.

  • Inventories, audits, and maintains all company and client equipment, promptly investigating losses or damages and arranging repairs so sites remain fully equipped.

  • Investigates major incidents and staff misconduct allegations thoroughly, attends scenes as needed, and immediately reports documented findings to the Operations Director or Managing Director

  • Manages end-to-end contract mobilizations, enhancements, and demobilizations, overseeing planning, recruitment, logistics, authority liaison, and onboarding per company procedures.

  • Promptly investigates and documents all customer loss/damage claims, reporting them immediately to the Operations and Finance Directors while protecting the company without admitting liability.

  • Executes regular security & HSE audits, site surveys, and staff penetration tests, sharing documented findings with clients, the Operations Director, and the Compliance Manager.

  • Immediately alerts the Operations Director of potential client terminations to execute recovery plans, and manages offboarding, including equipment retrieval and termination forms, if cancellation occurs.

  • Plans, briefs, and supervises temporary services and event work to ensure smooth execution and uphold company standards.

  • Develops and maintains good relationships with Police, local and relevant Government offices and Communities.

  • Carries out contract self-assessment audits on contracts under care to ensure contractual and legal compliance.

  • Provides written recommendations to optimize site security and encourages staff to submit efficiency improvements for both company and client benefit.

  • Investigates client complaints, implements Corrective Action Plans (CAP), updates clients regularly, and applies staff discipline when appropriate.

  • Maintains strict and appropriate confidentiality regarding security at client sites.

  • Immediately reports staff misconduct, illegal acts, or policy breaches to line managers and via the 'Speak Out' hotline.

  • Keeps self fully informed about Group / Regional activities via The Hub.

  • Carry out any other instruction / policy / procedure approved / sanctioned by Management / Company / Group as may be issued either verbally or in writing.

Job Requirements
  • A Diploma in Security or equivalent disciplined service qualification / experience

  • At least 5 years hands-on experience in an operational management role either civilian or disciplined services or commercial security experience

  • Demonstrated ability to work un-supervised and manage a team of at least 50 + staff / guards at multiple customer locations.

  • Be able to efficiently manage and control assets of the company.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written.

  • Computer literate

  • Knowledge of financial, commercial and legal related matters an advantage

  • Be a customer service people oriented person

  • Undergoes and keeps abreast of PLRD / PWM training course requirements. Aim being to have completed / passed all courses up to and including CSO irrespective of possessing a waiver due to previous career employment.

  • Must have own transportation vehicle.
