DSV Contract Logistics Pte. Ltd. seeks a seasoned Security Lead to manage end-to-end physical and logistics security for key global customers from Singapore. You will drive risk assessments, audits, and investigations while coordinating with the Corporate Security Team.
Reporting to the Head of Security in Singapore, you will oversee security tech, vendor management, and training programs, using Power BI and Excel to deliver monthly security insights and continuous improvement.
The role is to lead end-to-end physical and logistics security for key global customers—covering risk assessment, compliance, audits, technology, investigations, security vendors, training, incident response, and continuous security improvement—while reporting directly to the Head of Security in Singapore.
Security management: Ensure global customers' physical security policies and procedures are implemented and followed across sites.
Risk assessment: Conduct monthly Threat, Vulnerability & Risk Assessments (TVRA) and develop Intellectual Property Risk Management (IPRM) plans.
Compliance & audits: Manage security audits, compliance checks, spot checks, and red-team exercises to ensure outsourced security teams meet required standards.
Logistics security: Plan and manage logistics security, particularly for global customers and supply-chain operations.
Security technology: Oversee and implement security systems involving hardware, software, wireless solutions, and off-site monitoring.
Security standards: Ensure compliance with requirements such as C-TPAT, TAPA FSR/TSR, KCR, STP-Plus and TradeFIRST Premium.
Incident & investigation: Lead internal investigations into theft, loss of goods, security breaches, and other security incidents, including immediate corrective actions.
Security projects: Coordinate security improvement projects and work with vendors and the Corporate Security Team on implementation.
Security awareness: Develop security awareness/training programs and track staff training through Power BI.
Vendor management: Manage outsourced security agencies, security officers, performance, audits, and irregular spot checks.
Reporting & analytics: Prepare monthly security reports and recommendations using Excel/Power BI for the Head of Security.
Stakeholder management: Act as the main security contact for global customers and work closely with Operations Managers and other internal teams.
24/7 support: Handle security-related customer communications, including occasional night calls, and elevate significant matters to the Head of Security.
What the company is looking for
The ideal candidate should have:
Strong physical/corporate security management experience.
Experience in logistics/supply-chain security; consultancy experience is an advantage.
Knowledge of security audits, compliance and risk assessments.
Familiarity with C-TPAT, TAPA, STP-Plus and TradeFIRST.
Understanding of security technology and surveillance/monitoring solutions.
Experience managing security vendors and outsourced security officers.
Strong investigation and incident-management skills.
Ability to use Excel and Power BI for reporting and tracking.
Strong communication skills and the ability to deal directly with global customers and senior management
