Job summary

Longbridge Singapore is seeking an experienced Operations Lead to oversee multi-market settlement across SG, HK, and US, and to lead a team of Operations Executives ensuring same-day cut-offs and regulatory timelines.

The role includes maintaining control manuals and SOPs, AML/CFT monitoring, reconciliation and reporting, and partnering with the Head of Operations on product transitions. Strong leadership and meticulous attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
• CMFAS certifications (e.g., Modules 1A, 6, 6A) for a Singapore capital markets licence holder.
• 5–8+ years of experience in securities operations/back-office within a brokerage, custodian, or capital markets services entity.
• 2–3 years in a supervisory or team-lead capacity.
• Experience supporting new product launches (e.g., CFD, futures, direct clearing membership) is a strong plus.
• Strong working knowledge of the Securities and Futures Act 2001 and subsidiary regulations (customer money & asset segregation).
• Hands-on experience with back-office/settlement systems and multi-market settlement cycles (SG, HK, US).
• Meticulous attention to detail with ability to lead a small team under time pressure around same-day settlement deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Settlement & transaction processing across SG, HK, and US markets with same-day cut-offs.
• Lead a team of Operations Executives across settlement, corporate actions, transfers, and cash operations.
• Own and maintain Operations Control Manuals and Standard Operating Procedures with maker-checker controls and escalation matrices.
• Oversee daily custody/position reconciliation and regulatory/management reporting.
• Partner with Head of Operations on product transitions and live SOP updates.
• Act as escalation point for complex client complaints and exceptions.
