Job summary

Vanguard International Semiconductor Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager in Singapore to lead wafer fab procurement and supplier relations. You will oversee RFQ distribution, purchase requisitions, and contract sign-off, ensuring timely and compliant operations.

You will manage a team, drive supplier evaluations, and implement material alternatives, while mentoring procurement engineers and coordinating with internal stakeholders to optimize cost and quality.

Qualifications

• Degree or Master’s in Engineering, supply chain & logistics management
• 8 years in Wafer fab/semiconductor procurement
• 5+ years in a managerial role with strong leadership
• Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
• Proficient in MS Office and data analytics

Responsibilities

• Distribute RFQ and review processing results.
• Distribute purchase requisition and review handling results.
• Confirm and sign orders/contracts.
• Coordinate with suppliers and assist procurement engineers on operations.
• Assist in regular supplier evaluations and maintaining the qualified supplier list.
• Assist in asset disposal review.
• Assist in asset purchase case review.
• Provide assessment and training for procurement engineers.
• Lecturer in internal procurement related business.
• Handle tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Implement alternatives for raw materials, spare parts, maintenance services, etc.

• Confirmation and signing of orders / contracts.
• Participate in and assist suppliers and outsourcers to evaluate relevant operations.
• Coordinate and contact with suppliers.
• Assist the procurement engineer to solve the relevant operation problems.
• be responsible for the regular evaluation of qualified suppliers and the establishment and maintenance of the list of qualified suppliers.
• Assist in the review of disposal of fixed assets.
• Assist in the review of asset purchase case acceptance.
• Assessment and training of procurement engineer.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering, supply chain & logistic management discipline
• 8 years of relevant working experience in Wafer fab / Semiconductor procurement activity.
• Min 5 years of proven track record in a managerial role with strong leadership capabilities.
• Highly driven, motivated and resourceful.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and good data analytical skill
