Job summary

Patsnap is seeking a Senior Search Engine Backend Engineer to design, develop, and optimize our core product search system from the Singapore office. You will drive improvements in search quality and user experience by applying advanced search techniques and data insights.

You will work on tokenization, indexing, weighting, scoring, and ranking algorithms, leveraging Lucene, Solr, and Elasticsearch. This role requires strong coding skills in Java and Python and a passion for scalable search

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java and Python and strong knowledge of search tech.
• Experience with Lucene/Solr/Elasticsearch and secondary development.
• Familiar with ranking and search relevance algorithms, personalized search techniques.
• Background in information retrieval, NLP or data mining preferred.
