Job summary

ByteDance Singapore is seeking talented engineers to join the Search Team, owning the development of a full-stack search engine system. You will combine information retrieval techniques with modern ML methods from NLP, Computer Vision, Multimodal, and Recommender Systems to deliver top-quality search results for users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in computer science or related technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience in search/recommendation algorithm.
• Proficient coding skills in C++, Python, Java.
• Experience in NLP, Ranking, Ads, Search engine or Recommender Systems.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Optimize the searching quality to provide our users the best search experience.
• Leverage product objectives and ML/NLP/Multimodal techniques to improve ranking, including query and video understanding.
