Job summary

CSIT is seeking an experienced Platform & SRE engineer to design, develop, and maintain our large-scale database and search infrastructure in Singapore. You will ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of our systems, building features and evaluating new technologies to support a growing user base.

You will work with PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and cloud-native technologies, while providing guidance as a subject matter expert in database and search platform engineering.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with database systems (relational and/or NoSQL)
• Strong background in database systems, search technologies and software engineering
• Experience in cloud-native tech for container orchestration, CI/CD, infra automation and observability
• Experience with data modelling, schema design, performance tuning and data migration
• Experience in managing physical and virtual infrastructures

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain large-scale database and search infrastructure
• Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of database and search systems
• Build and maintain high-available, scalable databases and search platforms (PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch)
• Design and implement data integration and migration pipelines from APIs, files, and other databases
• Improve platform availability using SRE practices and incident management
