Job summary

Starhub Ltd. seeks a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to drive automation for software tests amid significant design changes. The role focuses on improving test coverage, speed and confidence in automated testing.

You will own performance test scripts, schedule and execute tests, and work with QA and engineering teams to enhance test efficacy and application performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in performance testing or test automation in software systems.
• Ability to design, implement and run performance tests with clear environment setup and metrics.
• Strong collaboration with QA and engineering teams to improve test effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Take over ownership of existing performance test scripts from vendors.
• Schedule, design and drive performance tests.
• Improve efficiency and reliability of performance test runs.
• Improve performance of applications from a user experience perspective.
• Design and implement dashboards and reports for performance metrics.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to align on goals and KPIs for performance.
