Job summary

StarHub Ltd. is seeking a Senior SDET to establish scalable quality engineering practices across mobile, web, backend and cloud-native systems.

You will partner with engineering, product, architecture, DevOps/SRE, security and delivery teams to shift quality left and build automated quality gates. You will lead automation revamp, transition vendor automation in-house, and drive risk-based release confidence during migrations and platform modernisation.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to deliver automated tests across web, mobile and backend platforms.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tooling.
• Ability to design tests with multiple layers: unit to E2E; API and UI testing.

Responsibilities

• Partner with developers to design and implement tests at unit, API, integration, and E2E layers.
• Set up automated quality gates across the SDLC to catch issues early.
• Establish and track metrics for test automation to drive improvement.
• Improve test automation coverage, reliability and efficiency.
• Use AI coding assistants to aid testing, documentation and triage.
• Build internal tools and libraries to simplify QE for engineers and non-engineers.
• Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to align testing approaches and goals.
