Job summary

NATi, hosted by A*STAR in Singapore, seeks an experienced Scientist/Senior Scientist – Target Discovery & Validation to lead identification and validation of novel RNA targets for MASH, obesity, and metabolic diseases. Translate human genetics and multi-omics into actionable hypotheses for RNA therapeutics development.

Qualifications

• PhD in Biology, Genetics, Genomics, Bioinformatics, Pharmacology, or related discipline.
• A minimum of +5 (Scientist), +10 (Sr. Scientist) years of relevant experience in target discovery, human genetics, or translational disease biology.
• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and framework development.
• Experience interpreting multi-omics data and collaborating with bioinformaticians.

Responsibilities

• Lead Target Discovery portfolio for RNA therapeutics in MASH, obesity and metabolic disorders.
• Translate human genetics and multi-omics data into testable hypotheses and strategies.
• Establish a standardized target ranking framework for go/no-go decisions.
• Coordinate across bioinformatics, biology, and pharmacology to translate findings into milestones.
• Design validation plans using human-relevant models for decision-enabling data.
