Job summary

Nucleic Acid Therapeutics Initiative (NATi) hosted by A*STAR in Singapore seeks a Scientist I/II in Cardiovascular & Metabolic Diseases Pharmacology to support oligonucleotide discovery programs focused on obesity and MASH. The role requires hands‑on pharmacology across in vitro and in vivo models, with independent design, execution, analysis and reporting of data.

The ideal candidate holds a MSc/PhD with 7–12 years of experience, capable of independent work, with prior RNA therapeutics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in pharmacology or related field with 10–12 years, or PhD with 7 years hands‑on experience in vitro and in vivo pharmacology.
• Demonstrated expertise in study design, execution, troubleshooting, data analysis, and reporting.
• Experience developing and managing IACUC protocols for rodent studies.

Responsibilities

• Independently design and execute integrated in vitro and in vivo studies aligned with project objectives.
• Generate high‑quality, decision‑enabling data through rigorous experimental design and analysis.
• Present findings at internal project meetings with thorough documentation.
