A*STAR RESEARCH ENTITIES in Singapore invites a Postdoctoral Fellow to lead projects on therapeutic target validation and translational development for metabolic disorders, focusing on siRNA-based approaches. You will design experiments, analyze complex data, and contribute to manuscript preparation in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary setting.

The role requires a PhD and expertise in molecular/cellular biology, with experience in in vivo studies and disease modeling.

Qualifications

• PhD degree in Biomedical Sciences, Molecular Biology, Pharmacology, or related fields.
• Strong background in molecular biology, cell biology, or translational disease research.
• Experience with mammalian primary cell culture and molecular techniques.
• Ability to independently plan and execute experiments.
• Strong scientific reasoning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment.
• Mentor junior lab members when appropriate.

Responsabilités

• Design and execute independent research projects related to MASH and siRNA therapeutics.
• Perform molecular and cellular biology experiments, including gene perturbation studies and disease modeling.
• Contribute to in vivo studies and functional validation experiments.
• Analyze and interpret experimental data and present findings in internal and external meetings.
• Participate in manuscript preparation, grant applications, and collaborative projects.
• Contribute to scientific discussions, troubleshooting, and project strategy development.
• Mentor junior lab members when appropriate.
