Job summary

Scaffolding Works in Singapore is seeking an experienced Operations Manager (Construction) to lead scaffolding projects from planning to completion. You will coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure safe, compliant, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in civil engineering or construction management.
• 7–10 years scaffolding operations experience in construction, marine, or industrial sectors.
• Valid WSQ/BCA Scaffolding Supervisor/Manager certification (if required by country regulations).
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure, building, petrochemical, or marine projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage scaffolding projects from planning to completion. Review drawings, specs, and method statements. Schedule erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling activities.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health regulations, MOM guidelines, and industry standards. Review RA, SWP, PTW, and method statements; conduct safety audits.
• Lead and supervise scaffolding team including supervisors, inspectors, foremen, and workers; allocate manpower and resources.
• Ensure scaffold structures meet engineering, safety, and quality specs; verify stability and load-bearing capacity; implement corrective actions.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and materials requisitions; monitor progress and submit regular reports to management.
