Job summary

Mie Tech Scaffolding in Singapore is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate with engineers, architects and the team to set specs, create start-up and execution plans, and drive targets in time, cost, quality and resources.

You will negotiate contracts with external vendors, manage subcontractors and labor, supervise crews, and support tendering to win new projects.

Qualifications

Proven experience as construction project manager.
In-depth understanding of construction procedures and project management principles.
Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
A team player with leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineers, architects and the team to determine project specifications.
Prepare project start-up and execution plans, defining targets in time, cost, quality and resources.
Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
Lead a team of technical staff for day-to-day planning and execution to achieve targets.
Liaise with and manage subcontractors to deliver targets in time, cost, quality and safety.
Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities.
Supervise laborers and provide guidance on project bases as needed.
Assist the Project Director in tendering proposals to secure new projects.
Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and report issues.
