Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Customer Engineer specialized in SAP to help customers deploy SAP workloads on Google Cloud Platform and to collaborate with the sales team to explain technical features, overcome blockers, and map success patterns across industries.

You will engage with customers and partners to enable adoption, drive SAP-focused assets, and support regional go-to-market initiatives with field enablement and technical leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience as a technical sales engineer in a cloud computing environment or a customer-facing role working in a professional services or systems engineering team.
• Experience with SAP technologies, architecture, and infrastructure needs.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design SAP HANA on cloud solutions (RISE, PCE) with infrastructure, networking, security and storage best practices.
• Identify and qualify business opportunities, address technical objections, and develop strategies to resolve blockers.
• Own the technical relationship with Google’s customers, coordinating product management, engineering and other resources.
• Demonstrate and prototype SAP on Google Cloud Platform solutions in customer environments, using best practices for SAP on Google Cloud.
• Assist the SAP GTM team with regional delivery of field-enablement for SAP on Google Cloud Platform solutions.
