Job summary

Tech Data in Singapore seeks a hands-on SAP Business Analyst to own the SAP landscape. You will work with finance, supply chain, sales operations and customer service to capture requirements, design processes and translate them into change requests for configuration and development.

You will run workshops, write specifications, test changes and drive adoption, acting as the main liaison between business users and IT, ensuring quality analysis, documentation and user support.

Qualifications

• Degree in information systems, business, accounting, supply chain, engineering or a related discipline.
• At least eight years of relevant IT or business analysis experience, including a minimum of three years working directly with SAP.
• Professional certification such as CBAP, PMP or an SAP functional module certification is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the business analysis workstream on SAP projects, enhancements and rollouts, from scoping through design, build, testing, cutover and post-go-live support.
• Design and coordinate user acceptance testing, including test scenarios, data preparation, defect triage and business sign-off.
• Support data migration and cleansing activity by defining mapping rules, validation checks and reconciliation criteria with the business.
• Manage the SAP demand and change backlog, prioritising work against business value, effort and risk, and reporting progress to IT and business leadership.
• Plan business readiness for each release, covering process documentation, training, communications and hypercare arrangements.
