Job summary

Woodlands Hospital is seeking a Senior Assistant Manager for Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) and Fire Safety to elevate campus-wide safety governance. You will lead WSH, fire safety programmes and risk controls, collaborating with facilities, contractors and senior management to ensure robust safety performance.

You will drive incident investigations, data-driven improvements and training initiatives, shaping a culture of safety across patients, staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Workplace Safety & Health with regulatory compliance exposure.
• Experience partnering diverse stakeholder groups to maintain safety standards.
• Experience supporting or managing organisational fire safety programmes.
• Strong background in incident investigation, safety reporting and risk mitigation.
• Familiar with regulatory submissions and safety governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and sustain a robust Workplace Safety & Health framework across the campus.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, licences and safety standards.
• Partner with stakeholders on licensing, compliance and incident-related matters.
• Oversee safety compliance relating to hazardous substances and safety management.
• Develop and improve WSH management systems, processes and quality assurance.
• Lead hazard identification, risk assessment, safety inspections, audits and incident management.
• Analyse safety trends and data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Partner with Senior Fire Safety Manager to maintain a robust Fire Safety Programme.
• Support fire safety inspections, audits, drills and emergency exercises.
• Promote safety awareness and training across the organisation.
• Serve as Secretariat for Workplace and Fire Safety Committee and report to leadership.
