Job summary

A leading education institution is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Health & Safety to lead workplace safety, fire safety and regulatory compliance across its campus environment.

Reporting to the Head of Department, you will develop and continuously improve WSH, EHS and fire safety frameworks, manage risk, inspections, audits, investigations, drills, submissions, and safety reporting while collaborating with facilities teams and service providers.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of WSH experience in a large institution, educational campus, healthcare facility or similarly complex built environment.
• Registration as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (MOM) and FSM certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of WSH, EHS and fire safety frameworks, policies and management systems, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
• Oversee risk management, workplace inspections and audits, incident investigations, fire drills, regulatory submissions and safety performance reporting.
• Collaborate with facilities and building operations teams, provide safety oversight for maintenance, operations and projects, liaise with regulatory agencies and service providers, and drive safety awareness through training and committees.
