Job summary

Snowflake Inc. is seeking a Regional Vice President, Solution Engineering to lead the ASEAN pre-sales organization across Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines.

You will build and guide a multi-layer SE team and partner with regional leadership to shape technical strategy that accelerates customer value. You will drive capacity planning, forecasting, and adoption of Snowflake Cortex AI, Snowpark, and other offerings while engaging senior executives and maintaining

Qualifications

• Demonstrated track record leading multi-layer pre-sales or Solution Engineering organisations in enterprise software or cloud.
• Proven success growing SE leaders and succession planning.
• Experience partnering with regional sales leadership to deliver revenue outcomes.
• Strong grounding in data platforms, data warehousing, analytics, data engineering and AI/ML.
• Executive presence to influence C-suite customers, partners and internal leadership.
• Understanding of the ASEAN business landscape across multiple countries, cultures and industries.
• Experience building operating mechanisms, including capacity planning, metrics and forecasting, for a distributed organisation.
• University degree in CS/Engineering/Math or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, grow and develop a multi-layer Solution Engineering organisation across ASEAN.
• Partner with the ASEAN Sales VP and regional leadership as a co-owner of the revenue number, driving technical win strategy.
• Set the operating rhythm for your organisation: capacity and coverage planning, territory alignment, forecasting of technical wins, and metrics to run teams.
• Drive adoption of Snowflake Cortex AI, Snowpark, Snowflake Intelligence, Apache Iceberg tables and Snowflake Marketplace.
• Act as an executive sponsor for the region's most strategic customers at C-suite level.
• Sustain a strong partner ecosystem with global system integrators, regional SIs and cloud providers to scale technical coverage.
• Represent Snowflake’s technical vision at industry events and in the press; influence roadmap with regional requirements.
• Collaborate with global Product/Engineering to reflect ASEAN needs in roadmap priorities and data residency/regulatory compliance.
• Champion an inclusive, high-performance culture with enablement and succession planning.

We are seeking a Regional Vice President of Solution Engineering to lead our pre-sales organisation across ASEAN. You will lead a team of Solution Engineering managers and, through them, the Solution Engineers who help customers in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines get the most from the Snowflake AI Data Cloud.

As a member of the ASEAN leadership team, you will shape go-to-market strategy, technical win rates and customer value across the region.

AS A REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT, SOLUTION ENGINEERING AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:

• Lead, grow and develop a multi-layer Solution Engineering organisation across ASEAN, hiring, coaching and retaining first-line SE managers and building a strong bench of future leaders
• Partner with the ASEAN Sales VP and regional leadership as a co-owner of the revenue number, driving technical win strategy for strategic pursuits and consumption growth across the Snowflake AI Data Cloud
• Set the operating rhythm for your organisation: capacity and coverage planning, territory alignment, forecasting of technical wins, and the metrics your managers use to run their teams
• Drive adoption of Snowflake's newest capabilities, including Snowflake Cortex AI, Snowpark, Snowflake Intelligence, Apache Iceberg tables and Snowflake Marketplace, building repeatable plays your teams can take to market
• Act as an executive sponsor for the region's most strategic customers, engaging C-suite and senior technology leaders on data, analytics and AI strategy
• Sustain a strong partner ecosystem with global system integrators, regional SIs and cloud providers (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) to scale technical coverage across ASEAN's diverse markets
• Represent Snowflake’s technical vision and strategy at industry events and the press, sharing thought leadership to raise broader awareness
• Work with global Product, Engineering and global SE leadership, representing the needs of ASEAN customers influencing roadmap priorities and regional requirements such as data residency and regulatory compliance
• Champion an inclusive, high-performance culture with consistent enablement, career frameworks and succession planning across your management team

OUR IDEAL REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT, SOLUTION ENGINEERING WILL HAVE:

• A demonstrated track record leading multi-layer pre-sales or Solution Engineering organisations, including managing managers, in an enterprise software or cloud company
• Proven success growing and scaling high-performing SE leaders, from hiring and development through to succession planning
• Deep experience partnering with sales leadership at a regional level to deliver consistent, predictable revenue outcomes
• Strong grounding in data platforms, data warehousing, analytics, data engineering and AI/ML, with sufficient technical depth to earn credibility with architects and engineers
• Executive presence and the ability to influence C-suite customers, partners and internal leadership
• A solid understanding of the ASEAN business landscape across multiple countries, cultures and industry segments
• Experience building operating mechanisms, including capacity planning, metrics and forecasting, for a distributed organisation
• University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

BONUS POINTS FOR THE FOLLOWING:

• Experience leading through hypergrowth or building a new regional organisation
• Hands-on familiarity with GenAI, LLM applications or agentic AI use cases in the enterprise
• Background with consumption-based business models
• Established relationships across ASEAN's partner and SI ecosystem
• Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, telecommunications or public sector
