Job summary

NCS is seeking a Lead Product Engineer to drive software development for our robotics platform and real-time AI-enabled applications in Singapore. You will shape next-generation robotic software and hardware products, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure end-to-end delivery across prototypes and deployments.

You will define software architecture, create technical specs, and mentor teams while staying current with robotics, AI, and computer vision advances.

Qualifications

  • Extensive software design, coding, debugging and performance testing experience.
  • Experience deploying robotics platforms (ROS-based) and sensor tech.
  • Proficiency in C++, Python, Java, Golang; multi-language development.
  • Familiar with AI/ML frameworks and computer vision libraries.
  • Knowledge of cloud services and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead software design and development for robotics platform with AI integration.
  • Develop and optimize ML algorithms for robotics applications.
  • Drive technical solutions with cross-functional teams across prototypes and deliveries.
  • Translate architecture into software specs and docs including SDK/API.
  • Define test cases, review code, and ensure quality and security.
  • Engage in client meetings as a technical expert and translate needs into solutions.
