The role emphasizes hands-on operational execution, issue remediation, and cross-functional collaboration with data owners and technology teams. You will define data quality requirements, monitor critical attributes, and drive improvements to ensure data is fit for operational and strategic use.

Qualifications

• Deep and broad understanding of bank’s data landscape, systems, processes and products across segments.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships to resolve data quality issues and enable continuous improvement.
• Good knowledge of data quality principles and data governance practices.
• Proven experience in data issue management and data profiling.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex data issues clearly.
• Capacity to work autonomously and drive cross-functional initiatives forward.

Responsibilities

• Operate and enhance data quality processes and data governance controls.
• Lead data quality issue management, prioritisation and remediation with data owners and tech teams.
• Define and enforce data governance policies, standards and metadata management.
• Monitor, report on DQIs, and prepare management reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with RMG users and Tech teams to clarify data definitions and requirements.
• Utilize data quality tooling and automation to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage annual BCBS239 attestation with owners to ensure timely completion.
