Job summary

DBS Bank Ltd. is seeking a senior leader to define and oversee enterprise-wide data governance strategies across the group, driving risk controls and data integrity in a real-time analytics environment.

The role partners with risk, technology and business units to scale data governance with AI, establish ownership, playbooks and metrics, and mentor a team of specialists toward a culture of innovation and accountability.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, or data science.
• Subject matter expertise in data governance, data management or risk management.
• Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional data governance initiatives from conception through to successful implementation.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to influence stakeholders across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Define, champion and oversee enterprise-wide data governance frameworks.
• Expand governance to address agentic AI, real-time and unstructured data.
• Entrench data ownership across units and locations.
• Partner with risk management and technology leadership to execute governance initiatives.
• Drive communication and alignment on data governance standards.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of data governance specialists.
