Job summary

United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) seeks a Technology Development staff / senior engineer to advance RF SOI process development for RF front-end platforms in Singapore. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and manufacturing teams to deliver RF SOI technologies meeting performance, reliability, and cost targets for 5G and beyond.

The ideal candidate holds a Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with 3+ years in RF semiconductor technology development and

Qualifications

Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Semiconductor Physics, or related field.
3+ years of RF semiconductor technology development experience, RF SOI focus preferred.
Proven ability to transfer RF technologies to high-volume manufacturing and coordinate cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize RF SOI process technologies for 2DIC and 3DIC.
Collaborate with device teams to co-optimize RF device performance and layout for high-volume manufacturing.
Drive yield improvement, reliability testing, and failure analysis for RF SOI products.
Interface with fab teams to scale new technologies from R&D to production.
Evaluate emerging materials and process modules to enhance RF performance.
