AHEAD FOUR INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION PTE LTD is seeking a Senior Retail Sales Associate for our Premium Tea Boutique at Changi Airport East. This full-time role combines deep product knowledge with exceptional customer service to drive sales and build loyalty among discerning tea enthusiasts.

You will greet customers, provide expert recommendations, conduct tastings, manage stock, and support a premium brand experience across the store.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail sales, preferably premium/luxury.

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Retail Sales Associate – Premium Tea Boutique to join our team at our Changi Airport East Region location. This is a full-time position that plays a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience to our discerning clientele. As a Senior Retail Sales Associate, you will be at the forefront of our business, combining product expertise with outstanding customer service to drive sales and build customer loyalty. Your knowledge of premium teas, combined with your ability to engage customers and influence purchasing decisions, will be instrumental in achieving our business objectives and enhancing our brand reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, understanding their preferences, and providing expert recommendations on premium tea products

• Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge, including tea origins, brewing methods, flavour profiles, and health benefits, to educate and guide customers through their purchasing journey

• Execute effective sales techniques to achieve individual and team sales targets whilst maintaining the integrity and premium positioning of the brand

• Conduct tea tastings and product demonstrations to showcase the quality and characteristics of our range to customers

• Maintain an attractive and well-organised retail display, ensuring product availability, proper stock rotation, and visual merchandising standards

• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems, handling cash and card payments with professionalism

• Assist with inventory management, including stock checking, ordering, and receiving new products

• Support and mentor junior retail staff, providing guidance on customer service excellence and sales techniques

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through personalised service and follow-up, encouraging repeat business and customer loyalty

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the retail space, including the tea tasting area

• Contribute to a positive team environment and support the achievement of store performance goals

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in retail sales, preferably in a premium or luxury retail environment

• Demonstrated passion for tea, beverages, or specialty products with the ability to learn and articulate detailed product knowledge

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers at all levels

• Strong sales acumen with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets

• Proficiency in operating point-of-sale systems and retail technology

• Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and public holidays, as required by the retail environment

• Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift stock, and maintain an active presence on the sales floor

• Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail

• A professional appearance and the ability to represent the brand with integrity

• Experience in a customer‑facing supervisory or mentoring role is highly desirable

• Knowledge of premium tea varieties, origins, and brewing techniques would be an advantage
